Actress Priyanka Chopra must be on cloud nine. Her performance in Vishal Bharadwaj’s ‘7 Khoon Maaf’ is being applauded from critics and masses alike. And the actress who turns a serial murderer in this thrillingly dark caper has also won herself a rare complement from the original leggy diva.
We are talking of Shilpa Shetty who has watched the film and is visibly pretty impressed by Priyanka’s stellar performance. Taking to the micro blogging site twitter, Shilpa posted, “Watched 7 Khoon maaf, las night Well directed @priyankachopra rockd,really complex role but u did a gr8 job effortlessly, U go girl, all d best (sic).”
In the film, Priyanka essays a woman who is yearning for true love. But unfortunately, every time she marries a man (and she marries 7 times), she finds that he is not the perfect match for her. Hence, she cleverly executes plans to kill them.
Though the film has received mixed reviews, her portrayal of a grey character has wooed the critics. The wicked and ugly rendition of a sinister woman is bringing Piggy Chops all the laurels. She had also raked in loads of complements for her villainous rendition in ‘Aitraaz’. Looks like this woman seriously relishes and revels in the garbs of a dark-shaded character!
