The cat and run chase between a police and a drug peddler seems to be the basic plot of the upcoming movie ‘Dum Maro Dum’ that stars Abhishek Bachchan, Bipasha Basu, Daggubati Rana making his foray into the Hindi film industry and a special appearance by Deepika Padukone in a sizzling item number. The story is set around Goa and the film is aimed to project the raging fantasies of the dark trades in Goa. This was even more reflected when the trailer depicted the wilder side of Goa that shocked the viewers of its boldness in its concept but all’s not well between the Goa ministry and the producer of the movie Ramesh Sippy.
The Goa ministry puts the blame on media and filmmakers as to why Goa being projected only as the scapegoat always? It adds saying that the public is getting scared due to the unnecessary controversies being maligned on the state. Its been a tough ride for the producers of the movie following this trailer release to face this flak from the ministry. Though the headquarters haven’t sent any official notice to the producers regarding this issue, its more or less clear that the director wouldn’t take a risk in posting a trailer of this side of Goa. Dum Maro Dum is slated to hit the movie halls come April 22nd.
