Zuckerberg has long debunked the rumor that Facebook is going to make their own smartphone. Now we all know the reason why. What they intend to do isintegrate Facebook into every phone smartphone — yes, every smartphone. Starting it all is the new wave of HTC Android handsets that are “facebook-enabled” (i.e. they even have a dedicated Facebook button to boot.) More confirmation comes from the official Facebook blog as this integration will involve the social network being “an element of the device hardware itself.” Zuckerberg’s take on this in a video after the cut.
